My client in requires a CNC Turner and a CNC Miller (Setter/Operator) to join their firm in Gloucester.

Our reputation and success are founded on a wider range of standard format thermoplastics as well as customized materials
This person will be joining a team of 9 engineers to work in the production of plastic components for a range of small batch and one offs
Your primary role will be to Set and Operate CNC Machines, some programme editing would be beneficial but not essential, inhouse training and support will be provided
Ideally you will have experience in Setting and Operating machines along with Basic Programming (but not essential)
Essentially you must have machining experience working with tight tolerance and high precision engineering components
The most ideal candidates will also have experience with Fanuc (live tooling) and/or Haas, Colchester and Doosan operating systems
You must be able to work to tight tolerances and have a keen eye for detail to excel in this role
Some programming experience would be an advantage but not essential
There is also a OneCNC CAD/CAM software in place which can be used
Some experience of machining plastics would be useful but is not essential as training will be given
Ideally you will have relevant experience as a CNC Machinist who can set and operate machinery confidently
CNC Machining: 5 years+
Monday to Friday 40 hour week
Flexible start and finish time
£11 £13p/h DOE
