DevOps Engineer Leicester 6 months

IT Partner looking for a DevOps Engineer to work on client site on an initial 6 month contract in Leicester.

You will be responsible for supporting and improving our partners production environments. You should have strong Linux skills, be able to script in bash, have used automation (Ansible), and have experience using AWS. Our partner is building automated CI, CD pipelines so any experience with Jenkins will be an advantage. You will also need to understand web (Apache/Nginx) and database technologies, containerisation (Docker), and container orchestration.

Their aim is to have a fully automated CI/CD pipeline which allows us to deploy with zero downtime and you will play a large part in building this.

REQUIREMENTS

You have strong experience with:

AWS
Docker
Ansible
Jenkins
Linux Centos, Redhat, Amazon Linux on EC2
Bash

It is desirable

Aurora, MySQL
Apache, Tomcat or Nginx
Lambda
ECS
Kubernetes
