SEN Teaching Assistant SEN Support
£70 - £110 per day
Timeplan Education are looking for Teaching Assistants to join our team to work with children and young people in Hertfordshire.
The team you will be joining will specialise in SEN (Special Educational Needs) and will focus primarily on supporting children with a variety of special needs, including:
ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder)
MLD (Mild Learning Difficulties)
SLD (Severe Learning Difficulties)
PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties)
SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health)

My name is Jack Hurn and I am the SEN Consultant at Timeplan Education I look after all of the Special Needs Schools in Hertfordshire. I will be on hand to support you in finding your next role within education.

If you have a background in education, then that is great but those who have never worked in a school would still be desirable backgrounds in the following also are highly beneficial to someone embarking on a career in education:
Has relatives/friends with Special Needs
Has studied Health & Social Care or has relevant training/education
Has looked after children/young relatives.
If you can demonstrate enthusiasm, confidence and versatility then I would love to hear from you. You will also need to be adaptable to suit the unique needs you will be supporting and the variety of children you will be caring for Timeplan can however offer forms of training to help install confidence within an education role and offer competitive rates of pay.
