About the job

This awardwinning digital marketing company provides tactical and innovative solutions to the pharmaceutical and healthcare sector.

They have an excellent opportunity for a Digital Proofreader to work closely with their design and development teams. You have an excellent eye for detail and will be primarily responsible for ensuring the projects are completed to client specifications and to the highest quality. This includes proofreading and acceptance testing.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Perform quality assurance review of digital project deliverables
Ensure that all client instructions and specifications have been followed and that all questions have been addressed
Ensure the digital content, format, and professional appearance of the deliverables are of the highest quality
Verify match of type styles and layout within digital design artwork
Check headings, bullets, paragraphs, format, kerning, leading, text justification, headers and footers, indentations, page flow, artwork and graphics, call outs, punctuation, proper names, spelling and placement of screen captures
Confirm all text has been translated into target language (where applicable)
Creating final form PDF documents for approval
UAT experience desired but not essential

Minimum Requirement

Attention to detail, accuracy and patience are essential
Writing/editing/proofreading experience preferred
Excellent time management and organizational skills and the ability to work independently are required
Must be able to maintain confidentiality
Must be able to stay focused and concentrate under normal or heavy distractions
Must be able to work well under pressure and or stressful conditions
Must possess the ability to manage change, delays, or unexpected events appropriately
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite applications is essential
Experience in healthcare and a familiarity with medical terminology would be of benefit
