Our client, a global Insurer requires an experienced Insurance focused Programme Manager to lead a significant migration programme, which will involve large scale data, systems,and infrastructure migration. Whilst a solid technical understanding would be useful, this role requires strong stakeholder management and relationship building skills, and will involve liaising with senior business leaders and vendors on a day to day basis.

Specific Responsibilities:

Influence and assure the approach to programme execution, and establishes appropriate governance, controls, project management methodologies and quality assurance checks Ensure an appropriate programme management framework is in place Provide assurance on the coordination and ongoing momentum of the programme to achieve its overall outcomes in support of the Programme Sponsor Establish formal reporting arrangements on both programme and workstream progress Determine and manage risks and issues to the programme Act as the day to day escalation point for programmewide decisions that exceed the Workstream Leads authority (and escalate to the Programme Sponsor when required) Manage the programme budget, including risk allowance Define criteria for control and management of the programme or project Provide guidance and support to the Workstream Leads and Programme Sponsor with the advice, coaching and information required to effectively fulfil their roles Deputises for the Programme Sponsor as and when required This Programme manager needs to bring together business leads and different syndicate groups in this role

Required Experience:

Insurance experience, M&A, and ideally Lloyds Syndicate experience Minimum of 15 years experience in implementing complex change Previous experience in a Programme Director / Lead role within a matrix reporting structure is important, as is being selfsufficient and selfmanaging on a daytoday basis Extensive Insurance Industry experience Broker relationships with stakeholders within and outside the programme Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods Excellent Knowledge of performance evaluation techniques and key metrics Outstanding knowledge of data analysis, reporting and budgeting Excellent organisational and leadership skills Experience in insurance domain Experience of managing projects that involve data reconciliation would be nice to have Strong influencing skills and gravitas
