Our client is one of the leading Healthcare Companies that is currently seeking an Occupational Therapist to join a reputable Rehabilitation Service which is located in Cambridgeshire.
The Rehabilitation service provides assessment, treatment and rehabilitation for men and female patients that are suffering with a various range of neuropsychiatric conditions or functional disorders. Day to day medical care is provided for the service users, as well as on-site therapy services.
The successful candidate will receive an excellent salary of �23,000 to �24,000 per annum with excellent additional benefits.
As an Occupational Therapist your role will involve:
� Managing and coordinating the implementation of individual treatment plans for occupational therapy services
� Ensuring treatments, activities and interventions are delivery through effective application and communications
� Receiving and responding promptly to referrals
� Undertaking patient assessments to identify and prioritise patient needs before planning and delivering the appropriate and relevant interventions either on an individual or group basis.
� Maintaining accurate and timely records detailing each patients rehabilitation / progress
� Ensuring the effective and efficient management of more junior staff
� Maintaining and developing close working relationships with professionals and clinical colleagues within the multi-disciplinary team
� Ensuring clinical practice is in line with company policies and procedures and complying with statutory regulations and quality standards
� Contributing to business growth by actively promoting the therapy services in line with the local unit�s business plan
� Maintaining effective communication links with patients, relatives, carers and purchasers throughout the patient�s rehabilitation
You must have the following qualifications and experience:
� Qualified Occupational Therapist
� Full BAOT membership
� HCPC registration
� At least 3 years experience (which should include a year experience of working within the specialised area)
To be considered for this role you must be a qualified Occupational Therapist with a BAOT membership, HCPC registration and 3 years experience within the field.
