About the job
We are looking for a fully qualified and experienced Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Engineer in London to work for an established specialist client. The client is based in London but they cover all of the South East. They are looking for an engineer to cover all over the M25.
This family-run facilities management company secured huge well-known contract decades ago and since become the untouchable company on this contract. Branching out for 2019, they have tenders in process for other sites like this. With more than enough work going on in Romford, the company want to grow with another engineer to service this site and hospitals around London.
The management are genuine people who make sure their staff feel valued. They really are a great company to work for.
As mentioned, the big site in Romford would be your home for maybe weeks on end, but when work comes up further into the City, you will be the one they call. Keeping the job fresh but also having some stability with your location. We guess that the amount of time spent on site will be at least 3 days a week but this could change either way.

Requirements for this role:
- FGas 2079
- Qualified to NVQ Level 2 or equivalent
- At least 3 years commercial ACR service experience
- Driving license
- East London based ideally
- Great communication skills, both written and verbal.
Main site is in Romford, but the work location will be all of London as you will only be semi-static.
Flexibility to know that sometimes you will be called out to London instead of always at Romford as some of your colleagues will be.
Friendly and approachable - you will be working with a tight knit group of people.
The desire to grow with a company.
Package and benefits:
- Basic salary in the mid £30K's (more for the right person)
- Plenty of overtime paid at premium rates
- Van, phone, laptop, uniform etc.
- Career progression
- Holiday, sick pay etc.
This is a fantastic opportunity for air conditioning engineer to join a hugely successful company within the facilities management industry.
