Technical Product Manager
A global publishing software house is currently seeking a Technical Product Manager to join their Oxford office. Taking ownership of the full product lifecycle from inception, through specification, build and launch, the Product Manager will deliver high profile applications within an industry leading company.
This is a great opportunity for a Technical Lead, Project Manager or Product Owner to make a global impact, interacting with an international team of Designers, Developers and Architects across three continents.
This software house has been expanding rapidly, doubling in size over the last two years through the strength of its industry-leading products and highly talented team. The Oxford office boasts a world-class team of Designers, Developers, Architects and Machine Learning Engineers, producing an excellent range of products that have made a significant impact in the online publishing sector.
The Technical Product Manager will be engaged with tools to drive engagement in clients’ digital publishing content.
Backgrounds in digital media campaigns and online advertising particularly encouraged to apply. Exposure to content or learning management systems, digital publishing would also be well suited to this role however these backgrounds are not essential.
The Technical Product Manager
It is likely that the successful Product Manager will come from a background in delivering web-based applications or strategies whether in publishing, media, advertising, management systems, e-learning, e-commerce or related fields. Having a background in programming is not essential, just a good knowledge of how the SDLC comes together in a product lifecycle.
The key requirements include:
Demonstrable experience in leading the delivery of web or software applications
The skills to gain internal and external product buy-in
Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams, preferably on an international scale
Excellent problem-solving skills
This opportunity will provide Product or Project Manager with a platform to deliver high-profile tools on a global scale, making a huge impact on the success of this young company moving forward.
The Product Manager will be based in the company’s Oxford Office, outside of the city centre with the opportunity to commute by car or public transport. There are good links from Banbury, Bicester, Aylesbury, High Wycombe, Reading, and Newbury.
