Graduate IT Operations - Energy Industry
EDW Technology, established in 1995, is a fast-growing IT company specialising in the energy sector. Our product, the Energy Retail Suite (ERS) is a market-leading IT solution for energy companies in the UK. The product provides end-to-end support for electricity supply processing including pricing, quoting, metering, billing, collections and energy forecasting.
Recently we acquired TEAM, a company specialising in energy management software and services, which has enabled us to grow our revenues and extend our market into a complementary sector. As a group we now have 90 employees based from two offices in Milton Keynes.
We see the energy market changing rapidly over the next decade with an increasing emphasis on low carbon generation and the introduction of technology, such as smart meters and smart grids, to provide customers with more information and energy companies with more opportunities to enhance their offerings. The Graduate IT Operations Role
EDW is seeking Graduate with a Computing / Science / Mathematics degree who is interested in developing a career in IT. Initially working within our IT Operations Support team, our ideal candidate will have obtained a 2:1 or higher and be able to demonstrate a passion for IT in a service environment.
You will support our IT environments, monitoring and managing their performance within Service Level targets. You will work with our customers, both internal and external to troubleshoot issues and manage incidents, problems and service requests.
Our well established graduate programme provides IT skills training as well as soft-skills training and opportunities to learn about the energy industry.
