IT Service Manager – Sales and Commercial Flexible Location Job purpose The Service Manager for Sales and Commercial is responsible for the end to end provision of services to the business which it achieves through the following functions: Developing and driving the execution of service improvement plans Being a subject matter expert on the services you are responsible for Being a conduit between project delivery and service delivery Leading a team of functional support analysts Communicating to and from the business during incidents Providing feedback to all part of the relevant internal and external stakeholders on service performance Providing value for money services Taking account of business peaks and troughs in the provision of required service Balancing the risk of change of production services Knowledge, skills, experience and competencies It is essential that the successful candidate is able to demonstrate excellent communication and relationship management skills along with approachability to enhance the business facing relationship. Ability and energy to drive continued service improvement within BT and take ownership of challenges. Team leadership An aptitude for problem solving and the ability to work well under pressure are key Knowledge of ITIL processes such as Change and Problem Management (ideally accredited) Understanding of business process for Sales and Commercial and the BT systems that underpin it Understanding of IT security requirements Risk Management Stakeholder Management Budget Management  About usHere at Brakes Group, we have a simple mission – to help businesses who serve food to thrive.
