PMO Team Leader PERM LONDON £70K PLUS BONUS AND BENEFITS!
I am looking to hire a PMO Team Leader/Manager for a professional services organisation in central London who is also the largest car fleet operator in the UK. This is a key role in the Business Systems (IT) department and it will be focusing on leading the PMO team supporting the delivery of the IT Strategy Roadmap. My clients IT Strategy Roadman defines their next steps in replacing legacy systems and delivering efficiency, innovation and future of business agility.
The most important aspect of this role is to ensure user adoption of their PPM tools for you to create a culture amongst project managers of stringent use of this software. You will also be responsible for ensuring process and governance is adhered to, working closely to delivery and project managers and managing the RAID log. Further to this, youll be ensuring that delivery frameworks are being adhered to and will use your excellent negotiation and influencing skills to keep Project professionals on side.
Line managing a team of PMO analysts based in London
Assuring the IT Roadmap delivery
Owning the companys governance and delivery framework, coaching project managers and ensuring programmes and projects adhere to the standards set
Owning the PPM tool ensuring adoption and appropriate use
Supporting forward planning of the IT Roadmap and project/programme activities
Managing the crossprogramme dependency management process
Supporting RAID resolution and governance management information reporting
Working with other managers to revise and champion continuous process improvements and efficiencies across Business Systems (IT)
You will have proven prior exposure to IT strategy development and delivery as well as line management of a small team of PMO Analysts
Prior experience in owning, defining and implementing standards and best practice across delivery teams
Experience in supporting Head of Portfolio and PMO in project & programme planning activities while ensuring IT Roadmap is adhered to and progress is monitored and programme milestones are followed
Experienced in carrying out periodic PMO Maturity Assessments and implement agreed actions.
Ability and experience to own PMO processes and deliver continuous improvements to these as well as project managements & delivery framework.
Experience of working with PPM tools including setting up & embedding new processes and ensuring use adoption
Proven understanding of the interrelationship between plans, milestones, resources, change control, risks, issues, finances and benefits management.
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with solid experience of facilitating workshops covering risks & issues, dependencies, planning
RAID Management including the ability to identify and understand issues and risks, to summarise key concerns and follow through with development of an action plan
