This post is an opportunity for an early career researcher to join our dynamic research team, gain research experience, and to build capacity and capability in health research. Youwill work on a study (recently been funded by Health Education England) which investigates postgraduate medical trainees' and medical educators' experiences and perceptions of postgraduate medical training. The primary purpose of therole will be to assist in the fieldwork process, as well as manage and process the data collected. Youwill also assist with publications resulting from the study as well as helping to develop research proposals for further research funding. More generally, youwill be expected to contribute to the development of less experienced researchers and students, as well as the research culture in the Faculty of Education and Health.
It is envisaged that applicants for the post will have a good first degree in social science or in disciplines related to health and social care.
