Salary: £40-50,000 depending on experience + bonus

Background
My client is a well-established, award winning Chartered Accountancy practice, based in Surbiton, Surrey. They are a small team of professionals who are passionate about inspiring clients and colleagues to be the best they can be.

The Role
They are offering the successful candidate an opportunity to join a progressive firm that provides its clients with consultancy and advisory services as well as compliance services. This opportunity would suit a manager or exceptional senior who is managing a small team and a portfolio of clients.

Responsibilities
You will be working within a small team of professionals providing first class customer service to a portfolio of clients. The duties & responsibilities you will be required to undertake are:

Day to day servicing of a portfolio of SME businesses and their owners
Ensuring the timely and efficient provision of compliance services (e.g. assurance reports, accounts preparation, business/personal tax computations and tax returns etc.)
Ensuring the timely and efficient provision and presentation of regular management accounts
Identification, marketing and delivery of ‘added value' services (business planning and forecasting, corporate/personal tax advice, management accounting services etc.)
Supervision, training and development of junior team members
Allocation of team resources

The Candidate:

ACA / ACCA Qualified
Experience of working in Practice
Commitment to delivering outstanding customer service
Exceptional communication, organisational and management skills
A positive, supportive attitude
The ability to work as part of a team
Good technical knowledge
Working knowledge of Iris practice software
Working knowledge of one of the major proprietary bookkeeping packages ideally Xero
Good skills in MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook
