To oversee the team and pro-actively sell all Ascot raceday products to existing key customers and maximise business through an innovative approach, always delivering the best experience to all of our customers,
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:To achieve sales targets and maximise sales through existing customersTo oversee the team when the Client Relationship Manager in out of the office, ensuring daily and weekly targets are maintained and motivation is kept to a maximumBe able to identify day to day shortfall within the team and be proactive with outlining news initiatives to help reduce any risksTo mentor the Account Executives, offering support and challenges on a day to day basis to ensure revenue is deliveredTake ownership and responsibility for the development of an agreed number of key clients and key accounts to achieve agreed levels of new business and increase market share through a sales platform and use of commercial management techniques (Salesforce, OPTIMO diary management, Enta, LinkedIn, and other management tools)Build and manage a vibrant, long term network of relationships with individuals from multiple constituenciesAct as an entrepreneur, delivering the best ARL has to offer by mobilizing the right people, resources, and ideas into each client relationshipTo regularly meet with existing accounts and build a development strategy to ensure retention and growthTo research and identify new account opportunities from existing accountsAssist in preparing sales collateral and presentation materials including proposalsEnsure the account development process supports ARL delivery standard and KPI's are achievedTo maintain accurate records on prospects through the venue management systemTo be aware of competitor pricing, understand the dynamics of the local market and the demand generators, and the effect this has on profitIn conjunction with all relevant partners, ensure that the levels of Customer Service are market leadingBe actively involved (when required) in the raceday hosting activitiesTo continuously demonstrate the Ascot Ways, i.e. act as a role model through the Ascot values to provide the best possible customer service where delivery is always maintainedTo undertake special duties, or work outside of the normal daily/weekly routine but within the overall scope of the position at the request of the Senior Management Team
The ideal candidate for this role should have a minimum of 2 years' experience. The candidate will have experience in mentoring and coaching individuals and can demonstrate success in a sales environment.
The individual must have experience and an understanding of account development, management, and selling to both corporate and private individuals.
Competence with Microsoft packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Customer Relations Management Systems is desirable.
