About the job

Due to our on-going expansion growth in the renewable energy sector, our client is looking to recruit several full-time trainers to deliver a range of renewable energy training courses, along with Working at Height & Rescue Courses.

The suitable candidate is required to be able to deliver various training courses within this sector including GWO (Global Wind Organisation) this will be mainly focussed at their world class Training Academy in Kent in the South East of the UK.

Successful applicant you will need to be enthusiastic, confident with a positive manner and be excellent communicating with people, and would ideally have at least a level 3/4 award in Educational Training or equivalent teaching qualification (PTLLS). Or have a proven track record of working within wind turbines and an interest in becoming a Trainer.

Experience in Working at Height, Rescue, First Aid and Confined Spaces would also be an advantage.

The successful applicant will be based at their Training Academy in Kent, but additional travel maybe required to customer locations in the UK and could occasionally include travel to worldwide locations (with advance notice) for short periods.

Responsibilities include:

-Delivering training courses in line with the agreed syllabus.
-Supervising delegates during practical and theoretical training, ensuring lessons are conducted in a safe and professional manner.
-Assessing Customer's needs (TNA) and compiling the technical scope of courses which can form part of new syllabuses or update to current courses. This is to include the mythology and practical elements, that will be included in the training materials.
-Liaising with the training team and working as a team player.
-Compiling procedures and course instructions for candidates training on our structures.
-Leading continuous improvement training programs to ensure best practice is maintained and consistently improved upon.
-Maintaining a professional appearance & conduct and to always actively promote Taskmasters training programs to customers whenever possible.
-Ensuring that all paperwork regarding each course is completed in a timely accurate manner so that training admin are informed and supported as required. This includes reports and recommendations that are required for our clients in order to be competent in their workplace.
-Safety equipment inspections and monitoring of equipment required in preparation for courses.
-To work on their own initiative and be able to adapt to dynamic situations and prioritise.
-Be a team player
-Supporting the Company initiatives in line with ISO 9001 & ISO14001, Management system and various course accreditations
