Head of Content & Social Media
Working in a fast-paced environment, you willbe responsible for setting the strategies forour clients across multiple platforms including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn,Instagram and YouTube.You will play an integral role in ensuring that our campaigns are fullyoptimised for social media while meeting our clients objectives and bringing theirmessages to life in the most shareable ways.
Youll manage agrowing team of content creators who produce daily graphic, video and writtencontent for our clients campaigns and our own social media channels. Youllalso be responsible for identifying future skills and recruitment requirementsas the team grows.
Day-to-day, youll work closely with our CreativeCommunications and Media teams, including account handlers, creative heads andour planning team to advise on and deliver the social element of our integratedcampaigns.
This role is not only pivotal to thedevelopment of our social media capability and expertise but also integrateswith several teams to produce a seamless client offer and seamless campaigns.This will involve working with our media and advertising teams to blendpaid-for and organic content; with our creative team to develop and define ourvisual content offer and what is right for each campaign; and with our planningteam on content and social media strategy and to define and establish theirrole within integrated campaigns.
You will also be responsible for working withyour team to develop new business and existing clients social-only orsocial-first campaigns.
This will involve being client-facing, thepreparation of proposals, strategies and plans and of evaluation reports.
You will work closely with our Head of WelshContent on Welsh language campaigns, ensuring that content is conceived anddeveloped in Welsh, rather than using the same content for translation.
You will be responsible for advising thebusiness on the latest social trends and intelligence, on monitoring tools andsoftware requirements. This means youll define and develop our best practiceapproaches, keeping pace with the latest trends, innovations and developmentsin this constantly changing arena. Because youre results-driven, youll makesure we are listening, monitoring, measuring andevaluating as well as creating in the most effective, industry-leading ways.
