About the job

You will manage and co-ordinate administrative support activities which facilitate the delivery of services to Faculty students and Associate Lecturers. You will have an operational perspective on the planning and delivery of services, creating processes for scheduling, monitoring, reviewing and reporting, and liaising with colleagues both regionally and centrally. You will support the Faculty's professional programmes and be a point of contact for prospective students and sponsors, as well as for ongoing students and employers. Whilst your appointment will be based in Gateshead, you will provide 1.5 days administrative support per week to the Faculty's team in Manchester at a distance.You should have a degree or equivalent qualification with administrative experience ideally in an educational context. You will need excellent organisational abilities and communication skills, with the ability to analyse and interpret numerical data and the willingness to travel around the region and to Milton Keynes on occasions.Closing date: Midday 27 November 2014
