As a very entrepreneurial and rapidly growing organisation, this opportunity requires a like- minded HR Advisor to join the central HR function, supporting all companies within the group.
The HR Advisor Role
The focus of this role will be to provide full HR support to the HR Business Partners. Provide expert HR Advice to the wider group including Disciplinaries, Grievances, Absence Management, Employee Relations and all Family friendly benefits. Be the go-to person for the testing and implementation of a new HR system. HR Advisor Role and Responsibilities
First line support for all HR Cases coming into the HR Department – approx. 200 cases per month
Provide expert HR advice to the Group and escalate to the HR Business Partners where necessary
Log and monitor trends in HR Cases load
Produce Monthly Management Information for the Business Partners
Build and maintain relationships with all Managers across the various business
Carrying out processes and support for new starters, including appropriate staff induction
Implement and provide support for the introduction of the new HR System
Who are we looking for?
A strong HR background is essential, and you will have knowledge and experience of HR practices with a working knowledge of employment law required. CIPD qualifications are an advantage, however candidates qualified by experience will also be considered. The successful HR Advisor will also have:
Excellent attention to detail, along with time management and organisational skills
Good employment law knowledge required
Good level of I.T literacy including Microsoft packages including Word, Excel and Powerpoint
Good written/verbal communication skills to all business levels
