What youll be doing

This post provides assessment, treatment and discharge planning to a caseload of patients. Your caseload includes preadmission and preoperative assessment and you will receive referrals for both in and outpatients from the wards, outpatient consultant and GP clinics as well as via external routes.

Whats a typical day?

Practice as an autonomous and accountable professional using reflective practice and clinical reasoning in undertaking competent assessment in order to provide an individualised treatment programme for each patient.
To provide appropriate information, education and support for your client group and their carers.
To maintain accurate, comprehensive and timely patient treatment records and reports in line with local and national requirements for best management of the patient.
You will be expected to assist colleagues in other specialties within the team as your caseload and competence allows.

Who were looking for?

Degree in physiotherapy with active HCPC Registration
CSP Membership
Recent experience in an acute hospital setting.
Proven post graduate experience as a physiotherapist
Good written and spoken English
