Project Manager Contract

They offer integrated inspection, heat treating, maintenance, repair, manufacturing and asset integrity management solutions to ensure the clients equipment operates safely and functions properly. Their nine regional offices provide access to locally knowledgeable and experienced service teams backed by a global team of engineers and support staff.
To provide support and leadership to Service Line and Branch Operations with sales/detailed quotations/planning and execution of large, complex and/or strategic projects.
To execute projects efficiently and safely achieve schedule, cost and quality targets ensuring 100% adherence to our technical policies and procedures.
Ability to run numerous projects at any one time.
To participating in relevant bid meetings to establish product/quality compliance relevant to the successful completion of a contract and ensure that cost/profit margins and schedule are achievable.
To develop excellent working relationships with all Customers, Managers, and suppliers.
To use professional judgement to ensure that the products and services are safe, effective, competitive and meet all necessary regulatory and legislative requirements.
Manage time within agreed project delivery schedules ensuring efficient utilisation of all required personnel and equipment, in collaboration with Workforce Operations and Equipment Group.
Close out the project effectively, ensuring payment is received in collaboration with Finance, complete any customer satisfaction surveys and lesson learned meetings and prepare the project final report.
Actively promote the Core Values within all work based activities.
Three or more years of relevant mechanical engineering experience.
Experience within the Oil and Gas, Nuclear or Ministry of Defence Environment would be an advantage.
Project management experience and ideally a formal qualification such as PRINCE 2 or Agile Methodologies.
Excellent management skills combined with acute financial awareness.
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with internal and external customers at all levels.
Quick thinking, dynamic and persistent to achieve results.
Ability to identify and to respond to customers requirements in a diplomatic manner
Selfmotivated, decisive and committed.
Knowledge of NEC Contracts / Design and Construction background and CDM Site Experience would be an advantage.
