THE COMPANY

This international publishing company has offices spanning 40 cities, including Stockholm, NYC and Oxford. In order to move with the growing popularity of eBooks, the company have recently heavily invested in a digital arm, and with that comes even greater growth of their data department. Working with more targeted customer insight and live data, this company offers exposure to exciting data, with current employees also praising the companys excellent working culture.

THE ROLE

This endtoend developer role will be manifold:

Using Python to build ETL solutions, extracting from the AWS warehouse
Cleansing, manipulating data, engaging in full report development lifecycle
Building data pipelines, using Opensource SQL, creating stored procedures
Liaising closely with key business stakeholders in order to identify and develop key BI opportunities, using Python and SQL to produce adhoc analysis

This role also offers an unrivalled opportunity to receive training in a number of the tools utilised by the company, including AWS and Power BI.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Commercial Python experience
Interaction with AWS services such as Redshift, S3, Redshift, EC2
Experience of visualisation tools, e.g. Power BI, Tableau, Cognos
A willingness to learn and develop
