Sales Manager - Scotland - FM & Security Services - Salary will be based on target

Job Purpose

Identification, generation and sales conversion (security solutions & facilities management) to meet sales and margin targets through sustainable profit and to actively manage the sales process from identification to order.

Support is available from the Kingdom Leadership Team for complex large pitches and strategies.

Skill Base Requirements

Essential Experience & Skills:

  • A minimum 3 years' proven experience in a similar role and industry with a high quality service provider

  • Front Line Security Licence

  • A constant, confident and effective target achiever and closer of low and high value new business contracts

  • Up to date with the latest trends and best practices

  • Quality presenter (to support bids)

  • Commercial astuteness / experience and understanding of TUPE

  • Excellent excel / IT skills / CRM systems

  • Communicates and negotiates effectively and professionally at all levels - being polite, helpful and diligent, with a 'can do' attitude and strong engagement skill

  • Operational, technical and innovative mind to provide real customer solutions

General

  • Self-starter to hit the ground running

  • Stickler for the detail

  • Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks

  • Be a team player as well as working independently with a focus on sharing good practise.

Responsibilities

Primary

  • Sales process compliance (Sales - How we do business)
  • Tenacious and innovative approach to the creation of self-generated leads and appointments and maximising existing current customer opportunities
  • Write, prepare and support quality quotations / tender submissions and support site consultations as appropriate
  • Close business and achieve or exceed sales target through sustainable profit
  • Working closely with the operations team to retain good business and expand through cross selling
  • Keep abreast of industry and competitor intelligence

Brand and Business Protection

Knowledge, regulation, implementation and compliance of Kingdom management systems for:

  • Quality - Health and Safety - Environmental - Employment Law
  • Other appropriate manuals, policies, processes and procedures and business strategy

General Responsibilities
