SEN Teaching Assistant Birmingham ASAP

Academics Ltd are supporting an SEN School in Birmingham with their search for SEN Teaching Assistants to start within the next month. The School caters for students with social, emotional and mental health difficulties and severe behaviour difficulties. In order to take on this teaching assistant role you will need to be respectful of others beliefs and religions whilst having a positive attitude within the working environment. We are currently looking for three people who feel they are well suited and have a passion for working with Special Educational Needs.
One to one support supporting people with severe behavioural problems
Assisting children with additional learning needs
Adhering to safeguarding guidelines and school policies
Assisting class teacher with student support.
Liaising with parents and teachers regarding progress and specialised individual programmes
Respectful of others and their needs whilst providing equal opportunities
Resilient and compassionate
Mentoring and other means of support on a one to one basis and in small groups.
1 years experience working with children
Available as soon as possible
Ability to travel to Castle Bromwich
Level 3 qualified or equivalent
Experience of working with SEN children as a teaching or assistant or in a working environment
