Based at our Stratford campus, our School brings together UEL's innovative research and teaching in the fields of Biosciences, Applied Sport and Exercise Sciences, Health Studies and Professional Health Sciences. We have a successful and expanding portfolio of taught programmes and exciting new national and international postgraduate programmes being developed. Our key research themes are Medicines Research, Infection and Immunity, Sports Science, Rehabilitation and Public Health and we are committed to expanding our research profile to reflect the multidisciplinary nature and diversity of approach within the School.
We have a new post arising from the growth and popularity of our Biomedical Science programme. Working as part of a dynamic team, you will contribute to further development of this important programme as well as contributing to other areas of teaching, research and the design and delivery of our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
You will have a PhD in a relevant area, experience of teaching, academic delivery, programme development and academic management, and a strong commitment to the enhancement of teaching, student experience and progression. A current and appropriate record of research and/or knowledge exchange that compliments the existing interests of the School is essential. This position would present an ideal opportunity for those who wish to progress to further leadership roles.
