Marketing Executive role joining an existing team of 10 marketers

This is a brandnew role in the marketing function. The business has recently hired a new CMO and MD and they are tasked with innovating the sales and marketing functions. The Marketing Executive will report directly in to the CMO and will run the marketing campaigns for 12 B2B training courses, two B2B conferences (1,0001,500 delegates) and an awards dinner.
The Marketing Executives chief objective will be to make sure the numbers of people attending the training courses, conferences and awards are at the right levels. The Marketing Executive will be responsible for working closely with the sales team, providing them with leads (for paying and nonpaying customers) and sales support materials. The successful candidate will be bright, articulate and driven, be competent in writing copy for marketing campaigns, and have experience of email marketing (ideally automation).
Day to Day responsibilities:
Work directly with the CMO to write and execute the marketing strategies
Work closely with inhouse editorial and external content agencies to write and create marketing content
Utilise owned media channels (email, social media and website platform) to distribute content to drive inbound leads
Learn and use a firstrate marketing technology stack (Marketo, Salesforce, On24, Hootsuite)
Analyse and tweak marketing campaigns to improve the quality and ROI
Help integrate the marketing, audience development (telesales) and sponsorship sales functions to all push for a common goal
To be considered for the role of Marketing Executive, you must have:
At least 2 years experience in a commercial marketing role
B2B marketing experience
Excellent copywriting skills
Run email marketing campaigns segment database, write copy, send, analyse and improve
A marketing or relevant degree
Established media and publishing business looking to innovate the technology and data sectors. The Package for Marketing Executive:
Salary: £25,00030,000 + 20% bonus + benefits
