This is a great opportunity for a Service Delivery Manager with solid digital experience to work for a consultancy on a major client account. They work with some of the largest organisations in the country and have a great reputation for the quality of service they provide.
This is a new role working for a major client as well as potentially assisting on other accounts. The main one is a very high profile client, where you will be managing the digital services delivered.
To be considered you should have at least 45 years service management experience within an ITIL or ISO2000 environment. An ITIL qualification would be ideal. You should have solid skills across problem management, change management and incident management. You must have strong communication skills as well as a commitment to excellence.
You should have solid report writing skills and should be confident at chairing meetings. Your role is to ensure that company policies and procedures are followed closely and that you provide the highest standard of service to their demanding client.
An understanding of the company infrastructure is necessary here, so you should have a grasp of hosting, IIS, IP and DNS technologies and so on.
You should have good problemsolving skills and be able to identify weaknesses in the service and be able to recommend improvements. You will work with colleagues across the business to ensure quality is delivered.
You will be required to participate in standups, represent the team across the business and advise the team on daily activities, escalations etc.
There will be meetings with the client from time to time as well so you should have the confidence to represent the team well in these.
