Role: SHEQ Manager
Sector: Interior Fit Out
Location: Essex based with travel to projects throughout London.
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 + Car / Allowance + Excellent benefits package.
I have an excellent opportunity for an experienced H&S professional to join an award winning luxury interior fit out organisation based in Essex, the organisation are looking to bring on board a SHEQ Manager to lead their established H&S team to cover schemes throughout London and the South East.
The business who have offices in Brentwood are looking for someone who has experience within the fit out sector on commmercial, residential, education, hotel and office projects. My client is looking for someone who has at least 3/5 years' experience working in a similar position where they were responsible for developing a company's Health and Safety initiative.
The ideal candidate will hold a Health and Safety qualification ideally a NEBOSH Diploma or Construction certificate or an NVQ in Health & Safety, in addition to being a member of IOSH ideally at Grad or Chartered level. The ability to show evidence of monitoring, reviewing, preparing and publishing policies and procedures that apply in multi-site operations. In addition evidence of the use of continuous improvement would be desirable.
The role requires excellent communication skills both verbal and written and strong negotiation skills to ensure that all sites develop their Health and Safety compliance culture in a consistent manner.
