Social Media and Customer Service Executive
South Marston, Swindon
£20,000 per annum
Working closely with both the PR and Customer Service teams, the Social Media and Customer Service Executive will be responsible for monitoring and responding to all brand building customer interaction on social media to sustain a positive and engaging audience experience.
- Monitor all company social media accounts to identify brand building interactions.
- Respond to all social media interaction which is seen as brand building.
- Develop engaging customer responses which enlighten audiences and promote brand-focused messages.
- Seek opportunities to improve positive engagement on social media and improve the brand’s reputation.
- Identify, locate and engage with advocates and influencers within social media communities to build relationships.
- Produce reports to measure KPIs.
- Work closely with the PR team to ensure the brand tone of voice is accurately reflected in all interactions, posts and content.
- Work closely with the Customer Relations team to ensure any negative review or complaint is appropriately handled, and any serious issues flagged to the Head of Customer Service.
- Monitor and develop reports on competitor activity in relation to customer interaction within social media spaces
Experience and Skills required
- Previous experience of providing customer service via social media
- A good understanding of social media platforms
- Web and computer software proficiency
- Strong copywriting, content creation, proofreading and editing skills
- Strong interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
- Organised, flexible and self-motivated.
- Forward thinking and creative
