Set in beautiful grounds The Priory Hospital Southampton is a 40 bedded hospital. Services provided at the hospital include an eating disorder wardm an adult ward and a young peoples ward (CAMHs) We treat most psychiatric conditions
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Specialty Doctor to work across our Adult Acute Ward which comprises of 17 beds. The candidate should be section 12 approved and should have at least three years of experience in psychiatry. There are no on call commitments. The successful candidate will deliver high quality clinical services to patients in partnershop with the unit's established and highly motivated multi disciplinary team, Consultants and the Residential Medical Officer.
You will be responsible for ensuring that patients receive a holistic and person centric treatment programme undertaking psychiatric assessments to determine and inform the delivery of the Care Programme. You will be supervised and supported by our Consultant Psychiatrists.
Demonstrable experience of working within psychiatry is essential. A passsion to work within a team-orientated culture and a drive to deliver values and evidenced based patient care is key.
