Location: Leeds, LS7

Salary: £23,000

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Training Administrator to work for one of our clients a highly successful civil engineering company based in the Leeds, LS7 area.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Running quarterly reports and plan recertification, mandatory, PDR training with each department manager
  • Sentinel system coordinator Sponsorship/de sponsorship, reporting, updates, managing learning support requirements, presponsorship checks, arranging medicals & D&As, subcontractor management, new card processing, issue handbooks as required, upload events on to system. Manage Sentinel eLearning database, register employee as required
  • Responsibility for all Joining Instructions sent to delegates in timely and accurate manner
  • Customer and Training Provider relations booking courses, evaluation, sourcing cost effective training
  • Communications with courses delegates, managers, HR & Payroll
  • Booked course administration and invoice reconciliation
  • Record completed training on all recording systems
  • New starter preparation and training bookings
  • Apply for new and renewals of CPCS/CSCS cards
  • Development of Inhouse training packages
  • Deliver Training Department Inductions to new starters
  • Support the Training Manager and Trainee Administrator as required
  • Any other duties as required:

o From time to time you would be required to open up a Training course at the Sheffield office by 07:00am/07:30am. A company pool car would be provided or you can claim your mileage back
o In time, willing to have the confidence to stand up and present briefs / training to staff of all levels (with support and training).

Key Skills:

  • Previous experience in a similar role in the Construction Industry
  • Experience in Network Rail Sentinel scheme
  • Experience of CITB funding schemes or producing funding applications and CSCS/CPCS Schemes
  • Interpersonal skills

  • An ability to advise and inform others clearly
  • Initiative and creativity
  • Excellent time management
  • Organisational skills
  • Accuracy / Attention to detail
  • Proficient in all Microsoft applications excel, word, outlook, PowerPoint presentation
  • Bespoke training systems

Qualifications:

  • CIPD Level 3 Certificate in Learning & Development
  • Level 3 in Administration
