£8.20/hr 37.5hr per week 8.45am 5.00pm MonThu, 9am 4.00pm Friday
An award winning, fast growing pharmaceutical & sports supplement manufacturing company are looking for someone who is hardworking, reliable and professional person to become an integral part of the business with the opportunity of career progression.
The job will involve supporting the warehouse and production teams in the provision of materials in a timely and organised fashion. The management of stock will be critical and working alongside the senior warehouse operative to attain operational excellence.
Requirements of Candidate:
At least 3 years warehouse operations experience
Forklift truck driving license preferably bendi/articulated
Experience with Sage or other stock management systems
GCSEs of C or above in Maths, English & Science
Relevant vocational qualifications such as Btech, City & Guilds or NVQ.
Must be highly IT literate; with ability to input, retrieve and analyse data from excel
Providing products to the weighing team for manufacture
Assistance in the manufacturing of products when required
Recording batch numbers and expiry dates to conform with ISO22000
Operating the forklift truck
Assisting with stock management, rotation and stock taking
Operation of warehouse management software specifically the sales order and stock modules
Booking in of shipments
Receiving goods in
Ensuring stock is in the correct locations, that it is updated on sage and stored correctly
Working towards quality standards such as GMP and food safety
Ensuring the warehouse works to the 5s system on daily basis
Introduction of efficiencies to the operation through continuous development
Proactively being aware of things that will cause the system to be inaccurate and suggesting ways to prevent these for the future.
Maintaining the forklift truck according to best practices
Identification of problems and the proposal of solutions
The ability to work in a systematic, thorough and precise manner is necessary to maintain accurate records.
Strong work ethic proven ability to go above and beyond.
Able to work independently without close supervision.
The confidence to respond positively when under pressure.
The ability to work cooperatively and liaise with people at all levels.
