Are you a primary teacher seeking a role as a Year 6 teacher? Do you want to work in a large diverse primary school with a supportive team around you?
This 4form entry primary academy school close to Central Croydon currently have a vacancy for a fulltime Year 6 teacher. The position is from January 2019 or ASAP with an equivalent annual salary of up to £38,963.
The school aim for all children to be happy, independent and motivated with a real love of learning. Academic success and personal, social and emotional development are of equal importance and staff work hard to ensure that they develop the whole child. They are described as a community school which represents a rich and diverse local population. The school also has a Hearing centre for Deaf children from all over Croydon and neighbouring boroughs come to the Centre for specialist teaching and support.
The school is located in Croydon, South London and can be easily accessed by bus, tram and car.
The Headteacher is keen to recruit a committed Year 6 teacher.
The Year 6 teacher must have:
Full QTS (or equivalent teaching qualifications) Experience teaching in Year 6
SATs experience (ideally) Excellent classroom management skills
Professionalism, adaptability and a hardworking attitude The ability to engage well with colleagues, children and their parents
