JOB SUMMARY
Quaker Street Coffee & Bubble Tea was established in 2017, with Quaker Street Space starting a year later. The café was set up by a group of friends and quickly turned into an outlet for the community and nearby creatives. Our vision is to set up a hub for freelancers, creatives, entrepreneurs, and our café guests. Our Café and our Space are situated next to each other, which allow all the synergies that it brings to have great cafe and a creative workspace together under one roof.

Situated in Quaker Street Space is our newly built studio. We designed the studio with the aim of having an environment that is great for conversations and a relaxed welcoming atmosphere for recording content.
The Space facilitates ten coworking desks that are ideal for creatives and freelancers. We have set up a productive workspace for members having access to their own desks in a creative and collaborative environment. Facilities include individual screens, a dedicated and acoustically treated booth for zoom and telecommunications, and concessions in the café.
We are looking for a supervisor who will provide front of house support at Quaker Street Café who will be:
∙Greeting studio guests and with a friendly and welcoming approach
∙Arranging and setting up the studio as per booking requirements
∙Managing our electronic bookings diary and system
∙Providing support to our co-working members with on-site queries
∙Building and maintaining strong relationship with our members, clients, and guests
∙Promoting our services and products, including viewings for co-working.
∙Gather feedback from stakeholders and share with management to aid improvements
∙Maintain the cleanliness of Quaker Space and ensuring facilities are organised, tidy, and ready
for use.
∙Identifying/contacting potential leads for our studio services and co-working desk spaces.
SKILLS NEEDED
Essential Skills required:
∙Strong communications skill – orally and in writing.
∙Strong relationship management skills to build and maintain effective working relationships with
colleagues, members, and guests.
∙The ability to make logical and timely decisions, cutting through complexity and seeing the
bigger picture.
∙Able to work actively with others to achieve outcomes.
∙Being highly organised and having excellent attention to detail.
Minimum Skills required:
∙Media or Production related qualification.
∙Experience in customer service environment.
∙Proficient in using tech and media software.

This is E-Learning, via pre-recorded lessons delivered virtually for flexibility and encouragement and includes 1-hour fortnightly session with officers for further support.
