As a Credit Controller we’ll reward you with a competitive salary of £21, 000 plus additional bonus of £3k - £4k per annum plus other fantastic benefits. You’ll work Monday – Friday 9-5 in our fantastic premium office

We are looking for experienced, proactive and ambitious credit controllers. You will be responsible for the collection of key assigned customers, maximising collection rates whilst ensuring bad debts are kept to a minimum. You will expected to collaborate and communicate with various levels of customers & internal colleagues/stakeholders.

Key tasks...

> Effective control over collections and management of total debt to meet agreed targets whilst resolving all credit control and collections issues efficiently and effectively

> (SME) Manage high volume of emails/calls, both incoming and outgoing, in a timely manner

> Ensure customer accounts are properly reconciled on a monthly basis, working with other teams to clarify and clear any issues

> Liaise with Sales and internal departments to resolve account issues

> Provides timely recommendations to management for customer accounts receivable balances in dispute

> Taking payments by debit or credit card

> Support third party debt recovery agencies or solicitors

> Minimise risk though ensuring the proper recording and disclosure of any issues with customers to the team as well as across departments

> Regular ledger review to ensure potential bad debts are identified and escalated for further action

> Support vulnerable customers, with appropriate debt pathways and excellent customer service

> Review monthly bad debts to ensure provisions are appropriately calculated in the ledger

> Other ad hoc duties as and when required

Knowledge and Experience....

> Excellent communication and relationship building skills are key, as is a positive and flexible approach to your work

> Able to work well under pressure and prioritise own workload

> Make & receive high volume calls (circa 25 average each day)

> Update & maintain customer’s clear activity notes in IFS (circa 25 average each day)

> Effectively manage debts to timely resolution & highlight & process Defaults where necessary (circa 25 per week)
