Jackson Hogg is delighted to be supporting a global manufacturing client in the North East with the appointment of a Health & Safety Advisor.
Responsibilities: Assisting with creating and maintaining Health and Safety process guidelines for the business, risk assessments for manufacturing process, procedures for the company integrated management system (ISO 9001, 14001) Assisting in the deployment of safety briefings through the local managers Assisting in auditing the companies process Aspect and Impact audits Assisting in the emergency response and preparedness reviews Assisting customers regarding health and safety matters Assisting in accident and incident investigations and ensure accident prevention plans are put in place Liaise closely with the Maintenance Management team to manage issues relating to the facilities
Requirements: Experience in a similar role Working towards or achieved a degree related to H&S Ability to use Microsoft office and develop reports using PowerPoint/Excel etc Excellent written and interpersonal skills. Effective team working and networking skills with the ability to work independently. Excellent communication skills at all levels, both written and oral
