Childcare Skills Coach / Assessor Unqualified Homebased (Covering South East Area) Are you an experienced Manager in the Childcare Sector and would like to utilise your experience to mentor others through their qualifications? We are looking for an enthusiastic individual, with a background in Childcare at management level.

We will provide full training and support you through the TAQA Assessor qualification to ensure you become a qualified Assessor.

As a Skills Coach (Assessor), you will play an integral part in guiding individuals in your region through their vocational training programme, helping them successfully reach their course requirements.

What will you be doing: · To effectively manage your own learner caseload, you will assess and support learners through their Childcare Apprenticeship within their workplace · Set individual targets for each learner based on capability to ensure KPIs are met · Manage your diary efficiently, to ensure regular contact with learners · Monitor learner progress, ensuring any challenges are overcome Skill and experience we believe you need to be successful in this role: · A background within a Childcare environment (Ideally Early Years setting or STLS) · Previous people management experience · Registered Manager’s Award / NVQ Level 4 in Leadership and Management · Effective time management due to high volume caseloads · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills · Be used to working within a target driven environment and to tight deadlines · Ability to deal with professionals at a senior level · Due to the nature of the role, you must have a UK full driving licence and access to a vehicle About GP Strategies Training Ltd: GP Strategies Training is one of the top 10 providers of apprenticeship training in the UK.
