This vacancy is a collection point workplace where used clothes are collected voluntarily or on a cash-for-clothes basis, which means the vacant will have to be fast-paced due to a quick quality check and weighing of clothes on the spot. This job requires good teamwork and basic customer service skills which include dealing with the public, answering phones, handling cash and filling in paperwork. You will also be responsible for opening and closing the shop on time and the maintenance of the shop floor.
No Previous experience is required as full training will be provided under senior management.
After completing the 1st phase of training, suitable candidates will be trained further through a 2nd phase of one-to-one meetings with full training provided again under senior management and will be given full support to execute supervised one-to-one meetings with clients.
The qualities we are looking and aiming towards are: good communication skills, friendly, confident to meet targeted clients by convincing them through a persuasive pitch and teamwork skills. The staff will be required to engage, through phone and emails, with various local authorities and organizations including schools and gyms.
We will help suitable and interested candidates to get help with driving lessons. With this 3 step support and training, candidates will be able to engage in practical challenges and will find it easy to move upward in their career building.
If necessary, the vacant may need to travel alongside a driver for collection and assist them in loading and unloading bags of clothes. This could also include out of city travelling.
To expand the business, conducting marketing strategies will be required which includes managing social media, reaching out to the local community, distributing leaflets, and telemarketing. It would be valued if you have a driver’s license as this will open up extra opportunities and payment.

ADDITIONAL EMPLOYABILITY SUPPORT
We are engaging the Kickstart Gateway, The Bristow Partnership, to conduct at least a basic level of employability training, which will help the kickstarter to look for work after the placement. This will include:
• Award in Personal Development for Employability Level 2 recognised certificate
• 5 x hr taught sessions via zoom over 6 months with accompanying workbooks

Produce a CV
Working in a team
Assessing myself for a career
• 1-1 with tutor in month 3 & 5 to monitor progress
