We are looking to recruit an experienced HR & Recruitment Administrator who enjoys delivering excellent customer service within a fast-paced environment to join our HR team at our Head Office in Preston.

Your role will be to provide a comprehensive and customer focused service for all first line HR and recruitment administration duties for the business, covering all activities within the employee life cycle. This may also include supporting with the provision of first level policy advice to managers on key processes such as absence, paternity/maternity queries, flexible working requests etc.

You will also be responsible for contributing to the successful processing of payroll and ensuring all system updates are accurate and consistent with monthly deadlines. Experience of payroll processing is advantageous however not essential.

This Head Office is a modern and spacious working environment, spanning 3 floors for 30 members of staff across various departments.

What you'll need to be a successful HR and Recruitment Administrator:

  • Excellent telephone, verbal and written communication skills
  • Organisational, prioritisation & planning skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Proactive, self-motivated and willing to learn new skills
  • Strong customer service mind-set
  • IT literate with a proficient working knowledge of Microsoft applications including Word and Excel and preferably experience of using a HR system
