Our client is seeking a Maintenance Fitter. The successful candidate will be an experienced Maintenance Fitter with a mechanical bias having an appreciation of electrical. The Maintenance Fitter will join an existing closeknit team and support the Lead Engineer.
The duties of Maintenance fitter will include:
As the Maintenance Fitter you will carry out various mechanical maintenance and repair activities You will provide maintenance support for machinery As the Maintenance Fitter you will support the commissioning and installation of new equipment You will undertake training to expand your knowledge of other maintenance disciplines and HSE requirements As the Maintenance Fitter you will ensure all installation and repair duties are carried out safely and effectively You will ensure effective communication with team, management and operatives to achieve production output and quality standards As the Maintenance Fitter you will support the Lead Engineer with responding to break downs of large machinery, fault finding and diagnostics As a Maintenance Fitter, you will travel to different clients and support with the installations and commissioning of large machines You will update the internal database with all workbased activities As a Maintenance Fitter, you will ensure the efficient and safe running of all machinery You will adhere to all Health & Safety regulations at all times, including the referencing and reviewing of risk assessments
The ideal candidate will possess a skill set consisting of commitment, drive and enthusiasm as well as being extremely business focused Previous experience as a Maintenance Fitter is essential Experience of carrying out maintenance on a range of large machinery and a knowledge of hydraulics is essential A background within separation systems, process systems, flow control systems would be highly beneficial Candidate must have a driving license as the role will involve occasional travel to client sites
This role would suit candidates who have experience working as a Service Engineer, Mechanical Maintenance, Multiskilled Engineer and Maintenance Engineer.
Hours: Monday Friday 7:30am 4:00pm
Salary: Competitive + overtime
