We are looking for an enthusiastic EMEA In-Service Emission Compliance & Training Support Placement to join our team specialising in EMEA Emissions Compliance for our Technical Compliance and Certification organisation in the UK (Daventry, Darlington or Huddersfield). During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organisation operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry and power your potential!

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Procurement activities - Identifying Vehicles in the field that fit within prescribed parameters; working with Sales Account Teams, Customer Support teams and Customer Engineering
  • Logistic planning of vehicles and machinery - Support the Compliance Team with arranging and tracking of deliveries in and out of Cummins
  • Compliance Investigation Project Maintenance - Ensure database is updated appropriately - . in line with required timeline
  • Customer Engagement & Multimedia Training material creation and distribution - To create and continually improve interactive and visual Customer Engagement and Training materials that are tailored to the specific audiences to represent what we do in the testing process
  • Process Improvement Project lead - Leads a process improvement initiative identified by the Compliance Team from initial concept to completion (target ~6-month project)
  • Less complex compliance issue management
  • Learning Processes related to product Compliance with exposure to multiple departments across the Company (. Engineering, Service, Sales, Technical Design Centre, etc.)


To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Studying for a degree in Engineering, Logistics, Business Management or Marketing/Communications with an interest in environmental issues
  • Experienced in MS Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Project management skills
  • Creative and Multimedia Experience
  • Effective Communicator, experience in a customer facing environment is advantageous
