Radis Community Care have an exciting opportunity for a Payroll Manager to join our team based at our head office in Tamworth.
Established in 2001, Radis Community Care has grown to become a leading provider of community based social care and support for thousands of vulnerable adults and children in England and Wales, focused on supporting people to live independently in their own homes and part of their local communities.
We care for a range of service users including the elderly and for people with physical and/or learning disabilities. Tailored to meet our service user’s individual needs, our care ranges from brief daily visits to 24-hour live-in care and can either be short or long-term.
About the role of Payroll Manager
As a Payroll Manager you will be part of a team Ensuring the pay (weekly, monthly and 4 weekly) for all the Radis Group companies (1700 Members of Staff) are undertaken accurately and on time.
You will Assist in ensuring that all payroll related items are correctly recorded in the Group’s accounting records whilst ensuring the companies abide with all current HMRC rules regarding pay and employment. Liaising with department colleagues, branches and other support team members to provide assistance with all payroll related matters.
You will also assist in preparing end of period accounting reports, exception reports, statistics and analyses and undertaking all end of year processing for the HMRC submissions. Part of the role also includes creating new starters, including liaising with our training department, Preparing ID badges and processing P45/P46’s on the system and with HMRC.

Skills and Qualifications required for the role of Payroll Manager
The position requires experience in using Sage 50 payroll user, TAS accounts or Sage accounts packages with some familiarity with ETMS/Database time recording systems would be ideal (CM200, Webroster, or similar).
We are looking for someone who is well organized, used to working to tight deadlines, flexible with doing other tasks within the finance department as and when required, with a willingness to learn and develop.
