WE ARE CURRENTLY SOURCING APPLICANTS FOR A RESIDENTIAL SERVICE FOR 8 RESIDENTS WITH LEARNING DISABILITIES, AUTISM, EPILEPSY IN FAIR OAK, EASTLEIGH, VERY FRIENDLY SMALL SITE. VERY PROFESSIONALLY MANAGED.

This client unit of 8 residents is designed for adults with autism, learning disabilities and additional needs. A purpose-built accommodation that helps people with learning disabilities to live with as much independence and autonomy as possible. Gardens and communal space and good use of local facilities is within this location.
Sympathetically designed both inside and out, great care has been taken to ensure that these spaces incorporate the latest care technology, to give residents even more choice and control in how their support is delivered.

What is the job?
A Senior Support Worker is essential to work every day to help all residents live a dignified and meaningful life. The job requires the highest of standards, bags of passion while always considering the resident’s choices, their views and respecting their independence.
What we are looking for?
Previous experience in a Senior Support Worker role essential. Ability to work and lead a dedicated team. You will have responsibility to coach the carers and promote their development. You must have previous Learning Disabilities experience and have ideally in NVQ3 in Health and Social Care or working towards it.
Assisting the Registered Manager could also include aspects of the operational management for a candidate with ability.
You will need to administer medication as part of this role so experience in this area would be preferred.
Drivers are ideal due to location and role.
