ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced Business Value Head to lead and develop our business analytics team. The Business Value Head will have the following duties and responsibilities;

JOB DESCRIPTION

* Drive across the board Business Analysis and Analytics program with a target to drive data driven decision making for Liberty Steel UK plants.

* Engage with stakeholders to drive conversations on a continual basis to deliver through the entire spectrum of analytics (information gathering to delivering actionable insights).

* Orchestrate/build proofs-of-concept (POC) for potential new solutions and technology.

* Develop future solution strategies by working closely with Business and IT Development teams.

* Identify opportunities within business that can drive improvement/saving across the function through use of Analytics.

* Map stakeholders and successfully drive such projects that may include areas such as cost benchmarking, spend analysis, cost optimization, performance management, buffer inventory analysis, optimizing cycle times etc.

* Identify problems within a business, including through using data modelling techniques

* Formulate ways for businesses to improve and persuade internal and external stakeholders of the benefits of Digital Transformation

* Create and present functional design including data analysis to business team, gather feedback to influence solution design and approach.

* Orchestrate documenting functional business requirements, process flow diagrams, and business cases.

* Manage relationships with multiple business teams for new solution features and technical support.

* Facilitate review sessions with functional owners and end-user representatives.

* Perform gap analysis: as is vs. to be.

QUALIFICATIONS

* Minimum of a bachelor’s degree, preferably in supply chain, industrial engineering, engineering, business administration or economics. Master’s degree is preferred

* 10 to 12 years of experience in management consulting and project management, leading multiple teams / workstreams

* Mathematical Aptitude | Logical Reasoning | Analytical Skills | Good with Communication

* Self-Learner and Self Energy Driven | Ability to work in Dynamic/Evolving Environment

* Ability to Lens Data and Information from Several Angles | Process Agnostic and Path Finder Approach

* Good with Presentation & Excel Skills | Knowledge of Tech Tools Like Power BI would be added advantage.
