Job Description The post holder will facilitate the provision of a coordinated, high quality outpatient service to cancer patients and donor registries in consultation with the outpatient manager and or Lead Apheresis Nurse.
Job Type: Permanent and Full Time Shifts: Monday to Friday ( hours per week) Benefits package: We offer a comprehensive package including a contributory pension scheme (total annual contribution up to 20%), Private Medical Healthcare, 33 days annual leave (inclusive), as well as a wide range of other benefits.
Duties & Responsibilities To be able to work autonomously and also as part of a team.
To provide efficient, effective and evidence-based nursing care to patients at the Clinic.
To be competent in the recognition of life threatening/and or apheresis citrate reactions and act appropriately.
To organise workload in line with clinical priorities.
Skills & Experience RGN with valid NMC Registration Post registration course within this specialist field Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Oncology and Haematology Willing to work and be trained in an Apheresis Unit We are an organisation that has charitable status, and this helps us to drive forward our mission of reinvesting our income to deliver better patient outcomes.
