Project Manager (Information Security)

This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the worlds largest consumer goods organisations and help them make cyber part of everything they do.

You will be joining to help them through a complex global transformation which will shape how their entire organisation looks moving into the future!

The successful Information Security Project Manager will have strong experience working on Information Security projects leveraging best in class tooling. You will be part of the Cyber Transformation Program reporting to the Program Director and working closely with the CISO.

Key responsibilities of the successful Project Manager (Information Security)

  • Working with Architecture and Data Privacy teams, the candidate will be responsible for delivering cyber security projects related to information protection.
  • Broad understanding the wider objectives of the project/programme, be able to influence others, and be able to develop and maintain effective working relationships with senior managers, with the project executives, and with third party service providers involved in the management and operations of the project/programme
  • Must be able to work with key business stakeholders to understand data sensitivity and data classification requirements.
  • Must be able to work on an end user communications strategy to enable and drive appropriate business change with minimum business impact.
  • Must be able to manage and adhere to all aspects of project reporting and related documentation.

Essential skills of the successful Project Manager (Information Security)

  • Experienced Project Manager at PRINCE2 Practitioner level (or equivalent)
  • Strong experience implementing Information Protection controls across the enterprise
  • Implementation Experience of Microsoft DLP, AIP and Symantec DLP solutions is crucial.
  • Experience working with Security and Enterprise Architecture teams, product vendors, Data Privacy Office, Business champions and 3rd party suppliers.
  • Ability to manage stakeholders of various seniority levels.
  • Strong knowledge in project planning and managing plans
  • Have experience in using Microsoft Office and Project (2016)
  • Experience of supporting senior managers and stakeholders
  • Experience of managing change though multiple 3rd party suppliers in an outsourced environment
