Supported Living Manager (Learning Disabilities)

Domus are proud to be working with a fantastic market leading national charity in the learning disabilities sector, to recruit for a Supported Living Manager in Port Talbot.
The supported living services provides person centred support to 3 adults with learning disabilities and/or complex needs, as well as some behaviours that challenge, epilepsy and some use of manual handling.
My client is looking for an upbeat, positive and determined manager with a detailed approach. Reporting into the Operations Manager, you will work closely with the local authorities and social workers to ensure the highest standards of person-centred support are provided to the people supported.
They are paying £25,000 for the successful candidate.
Key responsibilities of a Supported Living Manager:
Managing all aspects of running the service including supervision of staff, rotas, care planning, quality assurance, training, budget management, finances and management of medication.
Ensuring adherence to all CIW standards (although you would not be registered).
Communicating effectively to both internal and external stakeholders
Training, developing and motivating staff through example and attention to good working practice.
Supported Living Manager Requirements:
Have a minimum of 2 years' supervisory experience in the care sector.
Experience of working with adults with a learning disabilities and/or autism.
Level 3 in Health and Social Care and ideally a Level 5/or willing to work towards.
Have an upbeat, positive attitude with a detailed approach.
