Secondary Teaching Assistants / Catch up support, Nottingham
Hays Education are currently seeking Secondary teaching assistants who are looking to work in the Nottingham area doing day to day or long-term cover for schools across the County. Whether you're looking for supply work, long term positions or a permanent role, Hays Education are market leaders for working in partnerships with schools across the East Midlands.
Your new role
Your role as a Secondary Teaching Assistant will be on a full time, part time or ad hoc basis in the Nottinghamshire area. You will be working with children now they have returned to school with supporting them with their Maths, English and Science studies to help ensure they are achieving their grades required. You will be tasked with supporting the teachers and ensuring the students are fulfilling their academic potential.
What you'll need to succeed
It is essential that any candidate considering this position has experience working with students with special educational needs. You will need to demonstrate an enthusiastic and caring attitude to work as you will be required to work in small groups or 1-1 with students.
Schools are looking for individuals that are:
* Able to demonstrate their previous experience working within Secondary Schools
* Passionate about working in education
* Experienced working with children with ASD and complex needs
* Adaptable, and able to work in a challenging setting
* Interested in working in a different environment
