Your new company
Hays Healthcare are working with a private Urgent Care service, to help provide them with General Practitioners (GP) to work in their out of hours Urgent Care Centres spread across Staffordshire.
Your new role
As a GP you will be expected to manage an in hours and out of hours case load, dealing with a wide range of presenting health care needs in a primary care setting. You will work with clinical and operational colleagues in ensuring the highest standards of care for all presenting. In this role you may be required to work at different Urgent Care Centres, or undertake a variety of different assessments (telephone triage; home visits; centre visits) during any given shift.
As a candidate for this role, you must be able to make professional autonomous decisions, when receiving patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems and make assessment of their health care needs, in order to be able to develop a safe care plan for their presenting/existing health problem and if needed refer them to other health and social care providers, as appropriate.
What you'll need to succeed
- To have been a continuous resident in the UK for at least 36 months
- GMC registered
- Competent in oral and written English
- Be on the English medical performers list
- A minimum of 2 years of post-graduate experience as a General Practitioner (GP)
