Media Sales Executive, Manchester, M3

Resolve Recruitment are working with one of the world’s leading media and entertainment groups. Due to recent expansion our client now seeks an experienced Media Sales Executive to focus on generating and growing their client base and business, by contacting new clients via phone, email and social networking. This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading Media company and springboard your career in Media Sales in a lively and welcoming company that will fully invest in your personal development.

The role;

  • Deliver against targets for the business through a range of sales techniques.
  • A good mix of new business, account management and administration.
  • Process client orders and manage expectations professionally and effectively.
  • Build positive relationships with the Managers and Account Managers in other regions to create good team spirit.
  • Analyse data and prepare basic sales presentations efficiently and effectively.
  • Maintain a proactive knowledge of all lead generation communication/mailers and follow up on them to enhance your client's experience and maximise revenue.
  • Actively research the local market and press to generate conversions from competitive media.
  • Maintain all administration around your accounts professionally and efficiently.
  • Remote working initially - staggered return to office from June.
  • Working hours - Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5pm or 9am-5:30pm

The person;

  • Essential: Strong track record of achieving targets in telesales or junior account management
  • Proactive and willing to develop and implement innovative solutions
  • Knowledge of the sales life cycle - cold calling is a large part of this role
  • Ideally familiar with Sales Force or an equivalent sales order processing tool
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Exceptional telephone manner
  • High levels of enthusiasm and intelligence - a positive self-starter, with a constructive approach in all situations whilst maintaining strong activity levels
  • Highly results driven to achieve targets and displays passion for achieving
  • Thrives in a fluid, changing and busy environment
  • Team players who work for the company strategic goals
  • Excellent organisational skills as this role requires you to keep many plates spinning
  • Strong Microsoft Office knowledge including Excel, Word and Outlook
