The Client

Our client is a London-based independent wealth management firm who have been providing innovative financial and investment solutions for their clients. They have built a reputation for being a reliable partner who safeguards their client's interests and protects their wealth. The team consists of internal and external experts in wealth structuring & planning, corporate & private fund raising, private equity & alternative investments, investment advisory, fund management and legal assistance.

The Role

Our client are looking for a proactive Russian-speaking Business Development Executive who will be responsible for developing a pipeline for both new services for existing clients and new clients who are not yet using their services. In addition, the role will involve gathering of industry intelligence as input towards new products and services aimed at both current and potential clients.

Responsibilities:

Generate AUM growth and revenue streams that will ensure delivery of the financial plan and achievement of the business objectives through effective client acquisition, cross sell of wealth management and investment products to existing clients and their own existing portfolio.

Source new target market clients that support the attainment of business objectives and targets and acquire / update and apply product knowledge to satisfy prospect and client financial and investment needs.

Maintain the highest possible standards of investment advice for clients in line with established sales processes.

Support Head of Strategy and Head of Product in new product and services development.

Take responsibility to build relationships with key clients and influencers inside of the referral businesses, instilling a sense of teamwork and pro-activity.

Be responsible for ownership of KYC (Know Your Customer) for the client base, e.g. completeness of account opening documentation, timely completion of Enhanced Due Diligence of customers, etc.

Skills and Experience

More than 2 years' experience in private banking or wealth management.

Experience in sales / relationship management is highly desirable.

Strong negotiating and influencing skills combined with positive winning mentality.

Ability to build and maintain your own book of HNW clients.

Fluency in Russian and English languages.

Strong analytical skills and relevant IT knowledge (particularly MS Office, including Excel).

Ability to thrive in a high-pressured environment.
